ICAR- ICAR-Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Rehmankhera, Lucknow celebrated “World Intellectual Property Day” on 26th April 2023 by organizing a Workshop on the theme “Women and IP: Accelerating Innovation and Creativity” under the chairmanship of Dr. T. Damodaran, Director. Incharge ITMU welcomed the gathering and gave an overview on WIPO and the theme of the program. Director in his introductory talk advised the Scientists to be proactive and come up with new innovations that would have IP value. Dr. Poonam Jayant Singh, Senior Scientist from ICAR-NBFGR delivered a special lecture on “Thinking out of box” and Dr. Anju Bajpai, Principal Scientist, ICAR-CISH delivered a talk on “IP avenues in Horticulture with special emphasis on Biotechnological Innovations”. The program ended with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Maneesh Mishra, In-charge ABI. This program was jointly organized by Intellectual Technology Management Unit (ITMU) and Agri-Business Incubator (ABI) units of the Institute. All the scientists, technical and administrative staff of the institute participated in this program. भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान केंद्रीय उपोष्ण बागवानी संसथान रहमानखेड़ा, लखनऊ ने 26 अप्रैल 2023 को संस्थान के निदेशक डॉ. टी. दामोदरन की अध्यक्षता में "महिला और आईपी त्वरित नवाचार और रचनात्मकता" विषय पर एक कार्यशाला का आयोजन करके "विश्व बौद्धिक संपदा दिवस" मनाया गया। आईटीएमयू प्रभारी ने सभा का स्वागत किया और डब्ल्यूआईपीओ और कार्यक्रम के विषय पर एक अवलोकन दिया। संस्थान के निदेशक ने अपने भाषण में वैज्ञानिकों को सक्रिय होने और आईपी मूल्य वाले नए नवाचारों के साथ आने की सलाह दी। डॉ. पूनम जयंत सिंह, आईसीएआर-एनबीएफजीआर की वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक ने "आउट ऑफ बॉक्स" पर एक विशेष व्याख्यान दिया और डॉ. अंजू बाजपेई, प्रधान वैज्ञानिक, आईसीएआर-सीआईएसएच ने "जैव प्रौद्योगिकी नवाचारों पर विशेष जोर देने के साथ बागवानी में आईपी के रास्ते" पर एक व्याख्यान दिया। एबीआई, प्रभारी डॉ. मनीष मिश्रा ने औपचारिक धन्यवाद प्रस्ताव के साथ कार्यक्रम का समापन किया। यह कार्यक्रम संस्थान की इंटेलेक्चुअल टेक्नोलॉजी मैनेजमेंट यूनिट (ITMU) और एग्री-बिजनेस इनक्यूबेटर (ABI) इकाइयों द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से आयोजित किया गया था। इस कार्यक्रम में संस्थान के समस्त वैज्ञानिकों, तकनीकी एवं प्रशासनिक कर्मचारियों ने भाग लिया।
